High Country Home Watch & Concierge, LLC
Frequently Asked Home Watch Questions

What is Home Watch?
The National Home Watch Association defines Home Watch as “The visual inspection of a home or property looking for obvious issues.“

Are you a house sitter service?
We are not a house-sitting service. Our core offering is a professional Home Watch service, which includes periodic visits to your home based on a customized, mutually agreed-upon checklist. Each visit typically lasts less than an hour, during which we meticulously inspect your property to ensure everything remains in the condition you left it. We take great pride in providing peace of mind, knowing your home is well cared for in your absence.

What are your credentials?
High Country Home Watch & Concierge, LLC proudly carries the Accredited banner of the National Home Watch Association (NHWA). As a vetted and approved member, we meet the highest standards of professionalism, ensuring we are fully bonded and insured for your protection. Additionally, we adhere to the NHWA’s strict Code of Ethics, reflecting our commitment to integrity, reliability, and superior service in safeguarding your home.

Are you a property inspector?
While we carefully monitor your property, High Country Home Watch & Concierge, LLC is not classified as a property inspection service. Property inspectors typically conduct detailed assessments of a home’s structure, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems during real estate transactions. Our focus is on regular, comprehensive home visits to identify potential issues and ensure your property remains secure and well-maintained while it is vacant.

Can you help me with home maintenance services?
While we do not offer direct home maintenance services, we can connect you with trusted contractors and vendors, and assist in coordinating access to your property. Our goal is to ensure that your home is well taken care of by professionals who meet your needs and standards.

Our neighborhood is gated, and we have a neighborhood watch program. Doesn’t that do the same thing?
Most neighborhood watch programs are passive and offer limited interaction with your property. In contrast, High Country Home Watch & Concierge, LLC provides a much higher level of engagement. We conduct thorough interior and exterior checks of your property, inspecting it in far more detail than a typical neighborhood watch program would, ensuring that potential issues are identified and addressed promptly.
